I am spending most of the day on my Potsdam conference proceeding. However, I also worked just a little on a draft paper on ξ Per with Derck Massa, David Cohen et al.. The paper shows Chandra x-ray HETGS emission lines for a number of lines and shows that it is not very different than from other O stars. e.g. ζ Pup. One of the conclusion is that the mass loss rate used so far will need to be reduced by factor about six. I will need to modify a few figures for that paper. I will also fit the lines to find the required porosity lengths assuming the higher mass loss rate. Currently, the wind is rather thin with or so. For the experimentation I will assume, .
